Born in Nursia (Perugia, Italy) around 480 A.D.

On the front of the medal, the image of the saint can be seen; the back contains a prayer invoking the Holy Cross with a suppliant wish to have it as a guide and support against evil and temptations.

It is used hanging from the neck or as a bracelet for personal protection, or behind doors as a blessing for the home or business.
